Fly Link

Introduction​

Maxconv Fly Link is a powerful feature that let you change campaigns anytime you want without waiting traffic source review. Sweet, right? 😍

This is how it works, once the fly link is created, you get a url, you set this url as campaign link in traffic source, when visitors visit this link, they will be redirected to specific campaign.

Someday, you want to test another campaign, the normal process is add another campaign in traffic source, wait for approval... But since you already have a approved campaign with fly link in traffic source, all you need to do is edit that fly link in Maxconv, change the associate campaign to another one, then the fly link will redirect visitos to the new campaign, because your fly link haven't change in side of traffic source, so there is no new review process.

Some traffic source may restrict such swap action, so use this feature ONLY on those traffic source who allow this kind of operation.

Create fly link by follow these steps.

  1. Click the Fly Links menu in the navigator.

  2. On the fly link page, click the green Add New button to open editor modal.

  3. Choose workspace that this offer will be assigned to.

  4. Type the link name.

  5. Enter fly link tags

  6. Choose the traffic source

  7. Choose the tracking domain

  8. Enter the link code. Maxconv will generate a default code based on the link name and traffic source, modify it as you want.

    The link code onpy support a-z, 0-9 and -

  9. The full fly link. This field is read-only, use this as campaign link on traffic source.

  10. Choose the campaign that this fly link will redirect to.

    note

    The redirect method from fly link to campaign is always http 302 redirect.

  11. Set additional tokens. These tokens will be paseed to campaign.

Then click Save button to add it.

To get the url of a fly link, click the Links button in Action column. The url will be automatically copied to your clipboard.

Change to Another Campaign​

When you want to change the fly link associated campaign to another one. Just edit the fly link and change the associate campaign field.

The link code can not be changed once created.
