Part II - Destinations

The destination of the campaign determines the traffic distribution.

  1. Choose the default transition method from campaign funnel to offer, new paths will have its "transition method" set to this method.

  2. Select the destination type.

    • Paths: This destination type enables you set all paths for this campaign.

    • Shared Flow: When choose this type, a shared flow will be needed, and traffic is distributed according to the path of that flow.

  3. Action section, which includes two action button.

    • Load paths from shared flow: Import paths from a shared flow into the current path setting. The shared flow paths will overwrite the current setting, so be careful.

    • Save as shared flow: Save current paths to a shared flow so you can reuse them in other campaigns.

  4. The path section, which contains two different paths.

    • Default path: This type of path has no rule, it will be used if none of the conditional paths match.

    • Conditional path: The path have a set of custom rules like country, city, user agent, IP...etc, MaxConv will try to test visitor's characteristics with conditional path, if one of conditional paths is matched, that path will be picked as destination.

      If none of the conditional paths match, MaxConv will pick a default destination according to its weight.

  5. Type the path name.

  6. Select the unique transition method (from campaign funnel to offer) for the path, a complete traffic flow diagram will be displayed below this field.

  7. Choose the landers for this campaign, if you promote offers without lander, turn off the switch next to the "Lander" label.

  8. Choose the offers for this campaign.

FAQ​

1. I'm sure that I have added the offer (or lander / flow) to MaxConv, but I cannot see it from drop-down menu during creation, Why?

It's very likely that you have selected the country tag label that does not match the country tag in the offer.

For instance, if you have assigned the country label United States to the offer in MaxConv, you won't see that offer if you have selected anything other than United States or Global from the drop-down menu in the campaign form.

The lander or flow selection works the same way.
